BBL HEROic is well tolerated. Most patients describe a quick snapping sensation that fades as the handpiece moves. Built-in cooling helps maintain comfort, and numbing is usually not needed.
Downtime is minimal to none. Patients usually return to normal activities immediately. Mild redness, warmth, or sensitivity may occur for up to 48 hours. Pigmented areas may temporarily darken as part of the healing process. Sun protection post treatment is essential.
BBL HEROic is safest and most effective in lighter to medium skin tones (I–III) and, in some cases, can be adapted for medium to dark skin tones (IV–V). It is not recommended for very dark skin tones (VI) due to an increased risk of hyperpigmentation.
